The Rockwell is an independent hotel in Kensington, which is part owned by our Senior Partner Tony Bartlett. It was created in conjunction with leading London architect, Michael Squire and opened in 2005 following a £7m refurbishment into what is now a 4-star boutique hotel.

Each of the forty rooms has been designed and built by Marldon to create a relaxed atmosphere, whilst retaining an individual character that combines English tradition with contemporary styling.

In addition to the well-appointed bedrooms, The Rockwell provides generous spaces for eating, drinking and relaxing, including a large south-facing landscaped garden, designed by Squire and Partners.

The management of the hotel includes all aspects of its operation, including a restaurant, bar and 24-hour room service. We also have a 24-hour reception and sales team.

The Rockwell is managed by Marldon’s Hotel Management Division, which includes our General Manager Ocky Paller and Gabriella Paller, as Head of Housekeeping. Fred Bartlett is in charge of Sales and Marketing.
