Rockwell East Brown Roof Blooms
As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, and following best practice guidance from Buglife, last year Marldon seeded a brown roof on the top of the Rockwell East. The self-sustaining roof is now blooming above the parapet, providing a protected seedbed for invertebrates and a potential feeding ground for bumblebees and other pollinators. Advice on planting was also sought from our long-term landscape designer Emma Plunket of Plunket Gardens.
