Kennington Lane Development On Schedule
Construction partner Henry Bartlett reports “the conversion of the former school to nine apartments is going very well. The project is in full swing with all major structural work complete, new double glazed sash windows, electrics and plumbing now being installed.”
Originally built in 1874 following the style of renowned architect J L Pearson this historic building will retain its Victorian charm and detailing, red brick arches, large doorways and high ceilings — offering each of the nine apartments a sense of spaciousness that is becoming a rare commodity in central London.
Contrasting the historic with the modern, the state of the art kitchens and bathrooms, coupled with Marldon’s trademark bespoke joinery and interior design, create a comfortable, open and stylish living space.
The nine apartments will be for sale and are set to be complete in December 2014, with a show apartment expected in September 2014.
