Marldon Joinery Attends BWF Awards Evening at Draper's Hall

Partners and employees of Marldon Joinery and Marldon were in attendance at Draper’s Hall in the City last Friday evening for the British Woodworking Federation’s annual awards evening.

The leading trade association the British Woodworking Federation shortlisted Marldon Joinery for their Health and Safety Hero Award. Marldon Joinery has put health and safety at the very heart of their everyday working practices in their workshop on Lydden Road, SW18. This has included inviting a specialised auditor to come and train the team in a wide range of health and safety matters that relate to operating in a joinery works as well as working practices more generally. These measures reflect the high regard in which Marldon and Marldon Joinery holds its employees, who are crucial to the on going success of the businesses, and for whom the creation of safe working conditions is essential.

Though Marldon Joinery were unfortunately not chosen as the final winners of the award, it is still a great honour to have the hard work and diligence of everyone at Marldon Joinery noticed among the 700 members of the BWF.

A great time was had by all at Draper’s Hall, where the Marldon team took the opportunity to celebrate a great year and enjoy the lavish setting.
